Know Your Power: New Voltmeter Feature for TFP & TCG Machines
Ensuring Optimal Performance with Built-in Voltmeters on TFP & TCG Machines
Starting January 2025, Trelawny is excited to introduce a significant enhancement to our electric TFP and TCG floor machines. As part of our commitment to quality and innovation, all machines will now feature a built-in voltmeter within the control box unit.
Why Voltage Matters
A consistent and adequate power supply is critical for the reliable operation of electric tools and machinery. Insufficient voltage can lead to subpar performance and potentially cause costly damage to motors and electrical components.
Our new voltmeter aims to address this issue head-on, empowering operators to ensure their machines are running at optimal power levels.
Voltmeter: How It Works
The voltmeter is activated as soon as the isolator switch is turned to the “on” position. This enables operators to:
- Check the supply voltage before powering the motor.
- Identify potential voltage drops when using long extension cables.
- Avoid damage caused by incorrect power supply levels.
By providing real-time voltage readings, this simple yet powerful feature ensures operators can “know their power” before starting their machines.
Key Features of the Voltmeter
- Wide Operating Range: Measures AC voltage between 60V and 500V.
- Clear Display: Large, easy-to-read display for quick and accurate readings.
- Multi-Voltage Compatibility: Suitable for 110V, 230V, and 400V machines.
- Avoid costly downtime: Prevents potential motor damage by verifying the power supply.
- Durable Design: Built with high-strength polycarbonate for impact resistance and long service life.
Technical Highlights
- Voltage measuring error: ±2V.
- Operating temperature: -40°C to 55°C.
- Compact design (51x29mm), lightweight, and energy efficient.
- Screw-type wiring for safe and convenient connections.
A Smarter, Safer Choice for Your Machines
With this enhancement, Trelawny continues to prioritise performance, safety, and operator convenience. The new voltmeter ensures that your machines are protected and ready to deliver peak performance, no matter the job or environment.
So, whether you’re tackling heavy-duty industrial applications or precise flooring tasks, our machines are equipped to give you peace of mind—because power you can measure is power you can trust.
Know Your Power! (And keep an eye out for the new voltage display on your TFP and TCG machines in 2025!)
Stay tuned for more updates and innovations from Trelawny.
