Trelawny VoltMax is the new battery-powered range, our latest innovation designed to enhance flexibility, convenience, and environmental efficiency in surface preparation equipment. The range takes our popular electric or petrol machines and introduces them in battery-powered formats, addressing the growing industry demand for cordless and emission-free solutions.

3. Who is the ideal end user?
The target audience will include the construction, tool hire and industrial sectors. Anyone carrying out surface preparation tasks that have previously purchased our electric or petrol machine range that are looking to save time, money, and find easier ways of working with those types of machines. The range also should be of benefit to customers looking for equipment with safety, sustainability & environmental benefits.
4. What is the runtime for the battery?
The batteries deliver the following runtimes*.
- TCG250 and TFP200 up to 35 minutes runtime from 2 x 8AH batteries
- TFS230 delivers a 60-minute run time from 1 x 5AH battery
* Runtimes may vary and depend upon the application, environment and speed of the machine used.
5. How fast do the batteries recharge?
The recharge times for the batteries are:

We offer a dual-port charging station for continuous use, allowing end users to rotate batteries and stay powered all day. Customers also have the option to purchase additional batteries.
6. Are the batteries interchangeable across the different machines?
Yes, the Trelawny VoltMax battery range is fully compatible, due to the flexibility of the Cramer platform, batteries with different amp-hour (Ah) ratings can be used interchangeably. For example, the TFP200 will operate with a 5Ah battery* — offering full compatibility not just across the Trelawny product range, but also with all machines and tools designed for Cramer batteries.
*This will affect the runtimes stated above.
7. Is the performance of the machines strong enough to replace petrol or electric machines on heavy-duty tasks
We understand performance is critical; our machines have been field tested on real job sites delivering comparable performance between the petrol and electric versions, with the added benefits of no emissions and low vibration.
8. Do the batteries work well in wet environments?
Yes, both the batteries and the motors (on the TFP200, TCG250, and TFS230 models) are rated IPX5, offering protection against water jets from any direction, ensuring reliable performance in wet conditions.
9. What if the battery fails on site?
In the rare case of failure, we can offer a replacement service* whilst we address this with Cramer, depending on where the battery was purchased.

10. What safety features are included?
The Trelawny VoltMax range maintains our focus on safety and includes:
- Dust extraction points allow safe collection of removed materials and protect the operator from breathing in harmful dust.
- Removes the need for electric power cables, meaning less risk of trip hazards while in operation.
- Emergency stop buttons allow for immediate shutdown, preventing injury or damage.
- Reducing HAVS levels where possible with our Vibro-Lo TFP200 and TCG250 models
- No emissions – safe to use in enclosed spaces
- TCG250 offers reduced noise levels, which help meet noise restrictions
11. Are the existing accessories and consumables compatible with the new range?
Yes, all accessories and consumables are compatible across all models
12. Do you have a price list for the new range?

13. What is the price comparison to petrol or electric versions
Whilst the upfront cost can be slightly higher, the cost of ownership is significantly lower due to no fuel costs, no power cables or transformers required and lower maintenance.
14. Is there a launch incentive
Yes, a free charger will be included with the first five orders placed across the entire distribution network, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, this offer is limited to five orders in total and one order per customer. A free charger is additional and cannot be substituted for the original machine order.
Once you have received an order, please notify your Account Manager and Customer Services, and we will arrange for the charger to be sent with the machine. If you have the machine & charger in stock, we will issue you a credit for the charger.
15. Can we get marketing support
Yes, we will provide social media assets, banners, photography, a promotional video and a product information flyer for you to share with your customers prior to the official launch on 11th August. Additional support can be made available, which can be requested via your Account Manager.
16. Do we need to provide additional training for our sales reps or end users?
While there are some differences, these are clearly outlined in the operation manuals. If additional product training is required, contact your Account Manager to arrange it.
17. Will you ship batteries with the machines?
Battery shipment varies by location – see details below. Depending on your location, batteries may be shipped separately from the machines, drop-shipped directly to your specified delivery address, or ordered through a Cramer partner. Full delivery and ordering details will be confirmed when you place your order.
UK Only Customers: Yes. If you have ordered the batteries with your new machine.
European Customers: Drop Shipment by Cramer to France, Germany, Italy and Sweden, taking app.7 working days.
Remaining European countries & Rest of the world: – Please contact your Account Manager for details of recommended battery suppliers in your region, as we are unable to ship batteries to all international destinations due to shipping regulations and Dangerous Goods premiums.

18. How do we transport batteries?
We are unable to provide country-specific transportation advice. However, please take note of the following general requirements when shipping batteries:
- Batteries must be shipped in UN-certified packaging with appropriate labelling and documentation. Lithium-ion batteries are classified under UN3480 (standalone) and UN3481 (with or in equipment), which determine the applicable packaging and handling rules.
- All lithium-ion batteries shipped by themselves must be transported at a maximum State of Charge (SoC) of 30%. Note: This will be mandatory from 01. Jan 2026.
- Batteries shipped by themselves (UN3480, UN3090, UN3551) are forbidden on passenger aircraft and must bear a Cargo Aircraft Only label.
- We recommend using logistic providers certified in handling Class 9 dangerous goods.
- Damaged or leaking batteries must not be shipped under any circumstances.

19. What is the warranty cover for the new Trelawny VoltMax range?
All machines and batteries purchased from Trelawny are covered under the current warranty, which is 24 months from the date of registration, until the 31st of December 2025. Thereafter, we will be offering the standard 12-month warranty.

20. Who is Cramer?
Cramer is an established manufacturer of motors and batteries. They are a part of Globe Technologies, which also includes Greenworks Commercial in North America. Although the brands operate under different names, they supply batteries built on a shared platform, offering a comprehensive and compatible range of products across their lines.
